Community and Sponsorship

After becoming involved with the Redcliff Junior Rugby League team in 2003, UTelco has also been involved with RMIT, Monash University and a number of Victoria Secondary Colleges in support of student study placement. UTelco has hosted numerous students in their final year of University study allowing them to learn all aspects of the IT industry, from Project Management to Data Architecture, from Technical Development to Client Services all while having heavy involvement with our research and innovation department. UTelco also encourages continuous staff development with many staff attending to part time studies in Bachelor Degrees, Masters and Doctorate’s.

In the future UTelco looks forward to becoming involved with charity organisations, through fund raising events, volunteer work and corporate sponsorship and ensuring that all our staff are engaged in this important service of our community.

Within the corporate community UTelco also prides itself on engaging with forums through Gartner, Women in IT, the Australian Computer Society and DAMA. It is through these forums that we ensure that we stay connected to the marketplace, upcoming trends and the future needs of our clients.
