OneSolution Logical Data Model (LDM)

The Enterprise Data Architecture comprises of a full set of integrated Logical Data Models (LDMs) based on the business themes, often referred to as data subjects, defined in the Enterprise Model.

The set of integrated LDMs have been successfully implemented and fully integrated into the overall Business Systems Architecture of some organisations around the world. The integrated LDMs model all business rules and implement those business rules in an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

The LDMs are represented by an Object Model based on Semantic Relational Modelling, compliant with ISO standards and implemented using ISO data naming standards and conventions. The LDMs are fully integrated with 'one fact in one place', guaranteeing no duplication of 'like' business concepts. The LDMs represent the business and data perspectives independent of organisation structure and application systems.
